What is STRONG?
Strong is our “functional strength” program. Functional strength is defined as “training that attempts to mimic the specific physiological demands of real-life activities”, and we do this by carrying, holding, pushing, pulling and moving a variety of objects at different loads.
What are the benefits?
Due to its non-conventional nature, it trains the body to become stronger in different positions, making you a more robust athlete. And because it involves simple movements, it allows you to lift and carry weights that you never thought possible, making you a much stronger human!
Who is it suitable for?
BEGINNER to ADVANCED. This class is perfect for anybody wanting to get stronger, whether it be to improve your lifts (not sure how to word that) or for general health. Do we add anything about injury resistance? Because the exercises are low-skill, it is a great place for beginners to start.
